Our own Compost Tea Compost

For Making Your Own Aerated Compost Tea (ACT), Liquid Compost, Compost Extract or Compost Leachate.

We then let the biology “do it’s thing” for at least 3 weeks or longer.  This is NOT a re-heating or composting process.  It is a cool composting/fermentation period of time allowing the microbes to break down essential nutrients, amino acids, create enzymes and begin the “soil amending” process that we hope they will continue after we apply them to the soil via Compost Tea.  We believe that the effectiveness of any liquid compost product requires not only a high volume of microbes but also a heavy concentration of nutrients already complexed by the existing amended and enhanced compost biology.

There is NO WAY to confirm the included or excluded species of microbes in any outdoor heat cycled compost.  We believe that by adding some “known beneficial controls” we can drastically reduce the risk of any “bad guys” getting the upper hand in any phase of liquid brewing, extraction or direct soil application.  In addition we can, with certainty, add known beneficial microbes that enhance the end product and add known beneficial features to our compost tea compost.

We like to bring everyone to the party, diversity is good, but we also have bouncers to keep any trouble makers under control - Naturally!

We mix 5 different professionally made compost.  None contain any BioSolids.  We add worm castings, biological inoculants, liquid humates, liquid kelp, rock powders, unique nutrient feedstocks, Effective Microbes, vitamins and enzymes.

One key to great compost is consistent blending thru the entire batch.  We use our soil blender to finely blend our ingredients until they are COMPLETELY and uniformly mixed.
